Stranger in a not-so-strange land.

The strength to haul yourself to a different Place and a different Mind Space comes largely from Within oneself, but sometimes, a significant portion of it can come from Without, too - from other people who in one way or another send their support. Recovery groups recognize this, but you don't have to be "in a group" or "in recovery" to feel it.

I would like to thank everybody who has been supportive of me, those who have understood and accepted both my needs and my boundaries (maybe "Needs and Boundaries" should be a kiddie game like "Chutes and Ladders" hehe) and have not done me any destructive harms. This kind of support is one of the best gifts you can give a person, and one of the best justifications of the need for Other People in an individual life.
