Dr. Freud had a real sexy-lookin' wife, yanno?

O'Malley posted this yesterday and I was reminded how it stuck in my head for 20+ years after hearing it live exactly once, and how I 'bout dropped my drink at some Coffinberry show where it suddenly came jangling out of their mouths and guitars, and how it took me about two more Coffinberry shows to get around to asking what it was. Somehow I'd gotten the idea it was some old 60s song, some mo' of that Kinks or Small Faces bullshit that people in Cleebland just can't get over paying the ohmage to, instead of an original, despite the fact that I am 90% sure I have the record it's on in this house, probably unlistened.

It's probly good that I didn't listen to the record or pay more tenshun to the lyrics at The Time. also funny how songs, like people, like situations, tend to come Back on you, and repeat over and over on the Great Winamp o' Life.

Little rage I'm sorry
to Embarrass you at your party
I'm going out to take a walk
and I won't be back again

Oooo - Your own vice is glory
And that's not just another story
But someone's left hand will come at you
and it just might be the end

Ooo This little fragile fellow
Who loves you when you're weak and mellow
Same boy with the broken heart
Who's rolling on his way

When you resort to violence
The room falls into silence
Watch people turn their heads
and go climbing up the walls

But for them there is no danger
because I am your point of anger
There's no doubt in my hanging head
that this is the end of me

Oh this little fragile fellow
Loves you when you're weak and mellow
Same boy with the broken heart
who's rolling on his way

Girl, I can't take anymore
Do myself and lie in all my songs
Just too much demands
You do yourself and your broken hand

Little rage, I'm sorry
to embarrass you at your party
I'm going out to take a walk
and I won't be back again

Oh this little fragile fellow
Who loves you when you're weak and mellow
Same boy with the broken heart
Who's rolling on his way
who's rolling on his way
who's rolling on his way
who's rolling on his way
